Creche

• The Creche run by Karma Kutir at 119 Bosepukur Road with financial assistance from State Social Welfare Advisory Board and the Central Social Welfare Board has been functioning effectively under the guidance of Creche-in-Charge, Smt. Anju Jhunjhunwala.
  
• Guardian meetings are regularly held in the crèche where parents are encouraged to express their opinions on the functioning of the crèche. Special care is taken to provide balanced diet and proper nutrition to the children.
  
• The children of the crèche are engaged in different kinds of activities apart from studies, such as, dance classes and drawing /painting classes. They also participate in several events like observing Independence Day on 15th August every year, observing Rabindranath Tagore’s Birthday, observing the founder-member, late Dr. Phulrenu Guha’s Birth Anniversary, sit and draw competition, and perform dance and music recitals in various programmes of Karma Kutir. They are also made to interact with the children of other schools.
  
• Karma Kutir is extremely grateful to the Central Social Welfare Board and the State Welfare Board, West Bengal, for their support and assistance, without which it would not have been possible to run the Creche.
  
  
  

 Taekwondo Classes

• Karma Kutir conducts Taekwondo classes for the creche children and children from the community (Bosepukur area) since 2011 at the premises of Bosepukur

Computer Classes and Communicative English Classes

At Bosepukur Centre we are implementing a training programme for computer and market linked communicative English classes for adolescent boys & girls. Most of the beneficiaries have been able to find placement with various companies.
